SYNLIGA - A show in the dark "Synliga in the dark" a show with the light from within. Synliga follows the success of their show "Blinddate" with this all new fenomenal show to premiere in Stockholm at Göta Källare on the 24th of March 2009. "The great thing is that the audience is invited into our world by us turning the lights out, and for a second, like by magic The show speaks directly to the four sences that are left when the lights is no longer on and will lead to laughter and tears but the most stimulation will be You will here be given a change to experience the positive side of being blind. The show will be played on Tuesdays and Saturdays in March and April of 2009. The show is in Swedish but may in ehte future be translated into English for shows outside Sweden. |
"Blind Date", enter the darkness and see the light. The concept of this very successful show by the group Synliga is simply to place an audience in a totally dark room and then serve them a good meal and a good show, both filled with pleasant surprises. During the meal the members of Synliga walks amongst the tables and helps out where needed and when the meal starts coming to an end the show begins. For the next 25 minutes the dark room is enlightened by music, laughter and many a good thought. The second half of the show is started by a candle being lit and then the stage light slowly comes on. Here the tempo is brought up and several up tempo songs with dancing culminates with a tap-dance number. After the show the members of Synliga mingles with the audience and answers questions and meet old friends from the dark. The Show "Blind Date" has successfully been played throughout Sweden during 2006 and there are no signs of things slowing down.
